cell phone design based project

    hi, i want to design the simplest cell phone using op-amps or something. can u help me by giving some tips as to how to start??

    A cell phone requires a microprocessor to function. There is a great deal of overhead in the communication protocol that is not related to the voice transmission. But even the voice part has to be digitized. Chances are good that a design that relies on discrete components would be a cubic meter in volume.

    On the other hand, a wireless phone that can function at a small distance from the tranceiver base might be possible.

    Opamps do not work at the microwave frequencies of cell phones.
