Hi,
I built a Power supply based on a Kenwood KAC716 instead of a CPSU for bench top stuff.
In the circuit theres a R and C which I guess is the snubber =P1 P2 .

1 = If I remove them will it generate spikes in the secondary?

2 = Will it damage the MOSFETS ?

My intention is to get HV spikes on different coils that I have. I have terminals for coil attachment. Toroids , Model T coils , Harley Davidson and Iggy coils .
The sec has no filters only Micro wave Oven
diodes for fullwave . Im charging up Capacitors in series .
