    Dear all,

I would like to enquire about the value of the capacitors used to suppress noise in DC motors.
I have read several websites, and the recommended value is 0.1uF. May I know the reason behind this? Why is this small value capable of suppressing noise? Can I use other values?

    Kindly advise...

    Thanks,
    Vincent
