can i use general class capacitor like
class 2 (for eg: S103M69Z5UP63K7R) for Ac line filtering or line bypassing purpose instead of any class X or class Y capacitor, having the same specification?

what is the basic difference between the capacitors of two classes having closely matching specification?

 

The class X capacitor is designed to survive over a thousand volts intermittently. The class 2 capacitors make no similar claim, so the answer is, "no".
