please explain the correct defination of capacitance???
Capacitance is defined as the amount of charge stored for a given potential, quite simply C = Q/V.

Obviously, the reality is more complicated than that, see Volume I - Chapter 13 for a more thorough treatment of the concept of capacitance including a discussion of its origins from the electric field (related to the voltage).
