Hello,

I have been using the T-51991GD015-MLW-AIN color LCD from Optrex for 3 years now. I have recently discovered that they will be discontnuing this part.

Anyone know of an LCD very similar to this one:

1)same pixel resolution
2)8 bit parrallel interface
3)built in controller
4)With the same read/write/chip sel/ reset/register select inputs

I would really like to continue using something very similar since I have developped the driver for this LCD. S6D0110 seems pretty close but I can't find a distributor that supports/sells it.

Any ideas would be very appreciated!

Have you contacted Optrex and ask them what their suggestion(s) might be?

Otherwise, you might go for a lifetime buy to support your production until you can develop a driver for another LCD.

 

Well, they said that they have a rather large quantity remaining in stock... but that's not too re-assuring!!!
