is this the correct schematic for the internal circuitry of the TL072 op amp? thanks

 

You show the schematic of a single opamp, the TL071.
The TL072 is a dual opamp but probably uses one FET, NPN transistor and zener diode as shown on the right side.

 

This is usually reffered to as the simplified schematic, so there can be a few transistors missing, and you have to find the values of the resistors.
