Can anyone tell me why the waveform is lean towards the back ?

    however it seems to be fine when there is no diode

    Probably because the zener diode voltage is not constant with current. It has a "slope" resistance that may not be linear.

    What you see is a transient response just before the circuit reach his steady state.

    You have a non-linear load so you cannot expect a linear response.
