hey gay3.................... ammeter,voltmeter,power supply are basically called apparatus; they cannot be directly connected to the breadboard except for the use of connecting wires
whereas resistors,capacitors,FET,BJT are called components as they can be directly used on the breadboard
moreover all aparatuses are made of components
