Calculation of single phase SCR AC DC converter with Capacitor Filter

As i know without capacitor the Vdc output is of this formula

Vdc = E/pi [ 1 + cos(alpha)]


but if i add a capacitor as a filter to smoothen the output voltage. What is formula to calculate the output voltage.
