calculation of dutycycle

    Hi
    I'm doing a comparison between CC1020 transceiver and LM741 as an amplifier with respect to duty cycle. I'm making use of this expression to calculate Energy consumed per unit time at constant voltage

    E=V(volt)*I(ampere)*t(sec)

    for both the CC1020 transceiver and LM741.

    I need to calculate the DUTY CYCLE in order to compare both these devices and conclude which one is a better option to use in Wireless sensor Network to reduce down the power consumption.

    Can anybody please help me on this?

    Thanks for replying back.
    Could you please suggest me any other ic other than LM741 that I could made use as an basic amplifier to amplify signals in the range of mV.
