Calculating settling time of Switch-capacitor filter

    I need to convert pwm signal to a corresponding analog voltage.
    The problem is that i need to design it for a very small ripple voltage still have to minimize the settling time.
    I know how to design the filter for the needed ripple voltage, but i have been struggling to determine the settling time.
    Can someone help me with a math expression to calculate the settling time as well as how the settling time is influenced by higher order poles?

    Sorry. My circuit consists out of 4 Switch capacitor filters in cascade. I can determine a settling time by trail and error with my simulation, but it would help me a lot if i had a way to determine it mathematically LPF baan.JPG lpf uittree.JPG
