The thing that really gets me is that windows buggers up over a period of time. I was in an apple shop not long ago talking to the man about the differences. He told me that the apple OS does not get fragmented due to its clean design, windows always feels buggy, like its gonna fall apart any min :p

With VMWare, you don't need to Reboot the system. I've had uptimes of several years, basically until I update the kernel for some reason, or update hardware.

When something goes hinky in VMWare WinXP, you simply "reboot" it by closing the window and restarting it. It even works for some games.

how do i get VMware on ubuntu because i need too as i get this stupid warning called execution bit so i cant run windows programs using wine :(

chmod +x <file>
sets the executable bit in the filesystem.

That is one of the advantages of *nix, viruses can't be run from a non-executable file.

You may also need to change your BIOS settings for virtualization enabled.
