I have an amp im rebuilding and it has a burnt resistor and I can find the schematic to look up a replacement. Dose anyone know where to look to find how to replace burnt resistors that have the color codes burnt off. Or can you guess and put some resistor in and make it work? Let me know what do? thanks

There should be two channels of amplification for stereo. Look for the corresponding part in the functioning amplifier.

Resistors don't burn up without a reason. There must be another device that failed and caused the extra current. Look for one or more bad transistors.
