Burner circuit for 8051 microcontroller

    hello everyone, can anyone tell me why burner circuit is actually required for downloading the hex file to 8051??? can it be not burn without using the burner, if it can be burn then can u please give me any suggestion, i will be very thankful to u.

    No. The "burner" is not actually required for some microcontrollers. Example, for the Atmel At89C5131, you can "burn" the hex codes into the chip via a USB cable from the PC.

    i m having another query that whether all interfaces connections with AT89C51 will remain same with AT89S51 if there are changes can u pls inform me???

    Remember that core architecture of 8051 doesn't change. No matter what manufacturer you are refering to. All that will change is features offered.
