Hi, I'm trying to build both a rf transmitter and receiver, but I can't seem to find workable schematics for them. Was wondering if someone could shed some light and suggest some workable circuits. Many thanks.

What frequency, what modulation method, what range/power, what voltage source, what antenna restrictions, etc.

I just need a workable circuit to begin with, the rest can be modified once the circuit is up and running.

thanks for the link, will read that.

forgot to mention that I'm trying to build a transmitter and receiver for tagging purposes, say attaching the receiver to a device and using the transmitter to locate the receiver, so the receiver just has to emit beeping sounds only. I'm looking at IR sensors, remote controls, but have yet found much about RF ones.
