Is it posible to build an Op-Amp using only ideal logic gates?

Alternatively, is it possible to build a unitary-gain buffer using only ideal logic gates?

You can turn a CMOS inverter into a linear amplifier by connecting a feedback resistor from the output to the input.

A Cmos inverter used as an analog amplifier causes distortion that compresses the top and bottom of the waveform. It might sound "good" when playing acid rock noise.

Most audio opamps (not an awful old LM358 or LM324) have distortion so low that it can barely be measured and cannot be heard.
