    Hello all

I need to generate a voltage from buck-boost DC/DC block

As the following: the input is fix to 12V

The output should swing from 5V to 30V.

As I never did it I ask if it's doable ?

Is buck-boost DC/DC topology can handle that large swing?

    Thanks

The short answer is yes. But the current is unknown.

    thanks ronev
    i am talking on :
The output should swing from 5V to 30V @ 1A.
as well as is LTC3789 will do the job?

Yes it should, although, judging from the datasheet, it's not a simple chip to use...

    thanks.
yea................. it's not a simple chip to use...
I will be glad to get a good simple competitor IC for that..
