What type of buck boost dc-dc converter would be best to supply output power of 1kW?

Ive read about SEPIC converters, but people note that SEPIC converters are not generally used in high power applications.

Any thoughts

A buck boost is not practical for 1kW. That would be better served with an offline supply like a full bridge or half bridge.

You need to provide some specifications.

 

basically: Hydrogen fuel cell (current source). Need stable fixed output DC bus voltage for load (BLDC Motor for a prototype vehicle).

 

Forum does not allow applications for auto vehicles.

 

I am pretty sure the forum does not allow modification of stock vehicles, but does not prohibit say making a gocart.

 

not modifying any vehicle.... building a PROTOTYPE vehicle from scratch.. its a university project.
