Hi guys, I'm new on this forum and I would like to ask you a question. Maybe it's an stupid question but I'm pretty noobie so I'll appreciate any help.

I've been working with piezo material and I've read on Internet that the energy given by it has to be "converted" into useful power using an IC (LTC3588). It is implemented in a board to be able to work with it and I've found a Demo board from Linear Technology that costs 200$ and a Breakout board from the same company sold in Getech which price is 29$.

Can someone explain me if there is any difference between them? I post both websites below.

Demo board (just read the drecription): http://cds.linear.com/docs/en/demo-board-manual/dc1459B.pdf

Breakout board: http://www.geeetech.com/ltc3588-energy-harvester-breakout-p-639.html

Thank you!
