i wanted some elementary information regarding implementing a circuit on a breadboard
Pictures are worth a thousand words.
I tend to go for flatness myself.
How to do this?
Mine resemble hobbyist's technique.
Bill's technique is very neat, but I have an aversion to trimming component leads short unless I'm actually soldering them into a circuit board. Once you cut the leads off, you're committed to that length or shorter, or tossing the part in the dustbin.
The big advantage with Bill's technique is that you won't have problems with "metal-legged mini-monsters" touching their legs and shorting out.
Ah, but I reuse all of my wires, even have a hobbyiest bin I bought for them. I did have to buy a tool to help remove them though.
