Body Effect Coefficient in MOS

Hello,

The body effect coefficient (gamma) of PMOS is higher than than of NMOS. Why is that? I know that gamma is related to the doping concentration and the gate oxide thickness but I am unable to understand why the body effect is higher in PMOS than NMOS?
