So I know that I screwed this one up big time but I can't seem to solve it after the fact and its bugging the crap out of me. For B) I know that Vb < 0.6 + Ve but I can't seem to remember how to solve for Ve? It's basically a networks question but its been a while since I've done this and I can't remember where to go next. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

If the transistor is cutoff , which implies I_sub_E = 0, then 2 milliamps of current flows from GND through the 2 K Ohm reseistor to V_sub_E, and then through the current source(sink) to Vee. V_sub_E is then determined by the simple application of Ohms Law. I'll tell you my answer if you tell me yours.

I'd be much more interested in downloading and viewing your attachment if it was about 1/10 the size of the monster you posted.

I might have been able to see it better if I had. I'll have to remember that downloading thing. If I can't click on it and see it I might just pass it by.
