Hi everyone!

Can you suggest what IC or circuit will I use for these scenario.

When I send 1 positive pulse the output becomes high.
then when I send again a pulse the output becomes low.

just like a simple toggle switch, but trigger only when receives 1 positive pulse..

Thanks!

I think you are looking for an S-R Latch, or a Toggle Flip-Flop

Can't really give more advice without knowing voltage and current. SR Latches and Toggle FFs are available in logic ICs, which are 5V and low current, CMOS versions go to higher voltages, but are still current limited.

The current limitation can be overcome with output drivers, but we need more information about the application.

actually, i like to design a switch which is triggered (turned on) when you clap your hands once. The load remains at on state and turn off when you clap once again. I am new at this forum and i don't know how to upload the pix.. My block diagram is like this

electret mic >>> pre amp >>> comparator >>> SWITCH >>> load

please help me in the circuit of the switch.
