hello , i want to control w dc motor 1500 watts and 280 input voltage
anyway i need a simple IC to do it
something that can generate pwm , maybe 2 complementary pwms with a deadtime (for the H bridge)
and if this ic is suitable for a feedback loop for correction , it would be much better
i was thinking about the sg3524 , i've heard that many used to control dc motors with that but i don't think that it can create a deadtime for pwms to prevent shoot through in a mosfet h bridge

Ummm.. You would fry the living car-rap out of that poor sg3524.

I think what are you thinking of using to pulse the 1500 watts at whatever PWM rates you are thinking of?

That is a lot of back emf and inductance to deal with.

What is the function of the motor? Is it continuous duty?

you should look into back emf control - i am not familiar with techniques for it - but i am sure others here are.

that will likely be the biggest obstacle to overcome.

that is a big boy motor.
