    Many legendary icons in the electronics world have passed on:

    Jim Williams - National Semiconductor
    Bob Pease - National Semiconductor
    Steve Jobs - Apple

    In our smaller circles on AAC and other forums we have lost:

    Tony van Roon
    Bill Bennett (beenthere)

    These gentlemen have all made tremendous contributions to the electronics field in one way or another. It would be an honor to their families and friends if we could create a page on AAC where we can acknowledge their work and contributions and keep the memories of them with us forever.

    Benethere has alot of post on the Forum,he has some stickies,so I think

    we can keep a place here on the Forum.

    The generation that developed analogue integrated electronics is older now, and even the digital pioneers are getting on.

    Some of the important innovators have been gone for a while now.

    Dennis Ritchie's impact on modern computing has been immense.
    He created the "C" programming language, and the Unix operating system - amongst other accomplishments.
