If your talking about a Li-po ballooning this is normal with age. To dispose of a lipo battery pack just soak it in saltwater for 24 hours then throw it in the garbage. You can use seawater or make your own with iodized salt or seasalt and water. Until you've soaked it, its a huge fire hazard. Lipo's are designed to deliver big loads of power. They have exploded 1000's of times just sitting in a drawer. Basically as soon as the chemicals in that pack are exposed to oxygen they turn into a road flare.
