I have four solar skylights which I want to be able to turn off via remote in the day time if I so desire.
My idea is to get a simple 4 channel wireless receiver and connect the 4 skylights to that.
Solar Panel -> Receiver -> Skylight
I wanted to use something like this, but I'm not sure if this will work, or if I'm using the right thing in the first place.
I guess my main query is, can I use a separate battery to power the on and off connection and use this as a wireless light switch as such
