I need a little help in determining the best device
to boost 1vdc to a variable 3vdc...any ideas please?

So can you give us more specifics?

Yes, this is the most unique circuit in history...I will be converting lower energy from
current and voltage via the earths energy to be used for other purposes. I need to
boost 1vdc to a variable 3vdc if possible @1-2 amps. Is this possible? If so, what
IC or boost converter/inverter could I use?

 

3V at 2A is 6W. The converter might use an extra 1W to heat itself so the 1V source needs to supply 7A. Can it?
