    Hi there,

I'm trying to build a 2 pole VCVS high Q band pass filter that has a bandwidth from 0.5 to 3 Hz. It must not be a cascade of overlapping high pass & low pass filters. Roll-off on the low frequency side must be steep to cut out a DC component of the signal. Is it possible to build a bandpass filter of this type using a Butterworth, Bessel or Chebyshev variation? (Or do these classifications only apply to low pass & high pass filters?) Please can you point me in the direction of an online resource to do this?

Also, do state-variable bandpass filters come in Butterworth, Bessel or Chebyshev variations or not? Please help!

    Thanks :)
