    Hello,

I am doing an automatic water dispenser system for my mini project. I have found the circuit online, but the circuit dont have the types of diode and transistor used.

I have tried to contact the owner of the circuit, but he/she has failed to respond.
I would appreciate if you can suggest what type of diode and transistor i should use to make the circuit work.

This is how it should work : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPrjL4HU640

I tried using transistor TIP122 and diode 1N4001, but the motor wont stop when i removed the light from the second LDR (The lower LDR in circuit)

Thank you for reading and please help me!

Draw a circuit diagram of your circuit.

i have included the circuit diagram in the first post. The first picture is the operation, one by one. The second picture is the circuit.
