Anyone know where I can find the schematic to make an audio amplifier with a 741 Op amp in a non-inverting configuration?

    Thanks in advance.

    Step 1.
    Don't use 741.

    The 741 is quite noisy.
Where is the output of the amplifier to be connected? An op amp cannot driver a speaker.

I was gonna connect the output to a speaker. Why woudn't it work, too low of a current at the output?

    Use LM386.

Without trying to be snotty, have you tried the Internet? Put 741 amplifier schematic into any search engine and watch the circuits roll in.

Separate from that, MrChips is right. For a basic audio amp, the 741 has too much baggage. A specialty audio amp chip is way less work, and the LM386 gets you 1-2 watts with very little effort.

What is the application? What is the audio source, and what kind of speakers are you driving?

ps to #12 - No, I did not pay this guy to ask this question.

Honest, high power audio amps using an LM741 in each channel are sold in upcountry Thailand. I found myself repairing one after grandma left it playing at maximum volume overnight and charred the circuit board. Some people are only concerned about how loud the music can be, and think nothing about noise and distortion.

Certainly it can be done but it requires added power stages at the 741 output, since the 741, by itself, can only deliver a few mA of current.
