If the base of T11 is pulled down to -2.5V while the base of T10 is connected to zero through R11, T11 will shut off and zero current will flow through R13. That would make the base of T14 go high and there should be zero current through T14,15,16

Is the T14,15,16 string shut off?

ps, you meant 0.5 ma when you typed this:
That is just not the case :) I measure -2.5V at the T10 base and across R11.
T11 is definitely on otherwise i wouldn't measure a voltage drop across R12/13.

I wont say T14 and T15 is fully on or off for that matter. I measure a 0.3V drop across the internal diode. (basis / emitter)
T16 is on. (0.6V drop)

That wasn't too bad. Less than 90 minutes in rush hour traffic with rain so hard the visibility was 600 feet.
I'm still a bit soggy. Need to change my shirt.:D

...There we go. Dry shirt and full belly. Let's do this.:p

I can see you're investigating the right place. Gonna go help some other noobs for a while. Post when you feel like it.
