Atmega128L clock values for different peripheral

    Hello experts,
    I am working on atmega128L and need to calculate the energy consumption in different operations like data logging, ADC etc.
    For this I required the time taken in each operation per byte/sample. To evaluate the time, clock value is required. Could you please tell that what are the various practical clock values for each clock like Clock(I/O), Clock(ADC), Clock(USART) and how to calculate it?

    AFAIK atmega has only one system clock, so the clock for those peripherals is set by the main oscillator. The only difference are counters, which can be run off an external crystal, but other than that the clock frequency is set globally.
    The main question regarding power consumption is how often are the peripherals accessed / enabled..
