I am working on a project to make a USB IR remote reciever for my PC based on AT90S2313 microcontroller. It is a 10MHz uC but overclocked to 12MHz. The programmer for it is based on the printer port one and uses a crystal which says 4/12 MHz. :confused: So I'm in a confusion wheter to use a 3MHz or 12MHz crystal for the programmer. Could somebody help me?
