Hi all! Anyone out there live in Houston and have a programmer for the AT89C51? I have the opportunity to snag a bunch of these for free. I don't have a programmer and don't want to invest in one until I know I can use these.
SO....I need you help! If the lock bits are set on these chips then they are useless junk, all I need to do is drop one into a programmer and see if it will verify read and write if it does not the the LB's are set and oh well....
I will gladly share four or five of these with you if they turn out to be usable.
I am trading a little work for about twenty boards with chips...if they are not locked!
