Kind friends:

A friend recently emailed the following image of unknown components --- Note that each device is constructed as (what amounts to) an elongated 'pilot lamp' but contains a ceramic rod having longitudinal bores (à la multi-aperture ferrite beads) - each [bore] containing a 'lap' of uninsulated wire...

My best guess is that it is some manner of heater (as applied, for instance, to a temperature controlled piezo assembly) --- Ideas?

I don't have the components in my possession at this time -- Though it seems the markings are illegible... I will have opportunity to purchase them this weekend and will do for novelty/curiosity sake

If you can do a simple Watts Law calculation from the markings you might divine whether the only possible result would be a heater.
