Arduino Pro Mini Pin Order

    Yep,

    learned it the hard way: genuine Arduino Pro Mini boards and Chinese rip off don't have the same pin order on the ftdi header... That kind of sucks given the fact I already got my shield made with the inverted pin order... Another proof that I'm dislexyc ;)

    time constraints don't always match well with doubling infinity ;)

    A friend gave me a similar arduino pro mini and labeled sparkfun, but the pinout is different.

    pin order is the same if you flip it.

    How do you know the Sparkfun ones aren't made in China?

    Nope, these are not C2 symmetrical, you cannot flip them. One side is raw the other is TX.

    I'm pretty sure they're all made in China... But Sparkfun is not in China.
