Hi, I am new to this form. I am trying to get information on building a reef aquarium light. I am looking to use 3w LEDs. 25 white and 25 blue grow lights. I want to use a 120v power supply or I have a 12 v DC converter. I am extreamly new to this and basically need any information in running the lights. I can provide any information about the LEDs that you would need to get me started. If anyone would be interested in gettting me started. Basically i can build the enclosure and solder. So anything after that would be great. Thanks Eric

What are the specs on your LEDs as in voltage drop and at what current? It will be different for the two colors.

Light yes, but don't expect a lot of plant growth capabilities. LEDs have to be carefully chosen for that as plants require light in two rather narrow color temperature bands.
