Page 9 of the data sheet gives the complete details of how the device operates. What specific problems are you having?

 

yes i read the datasheet and the timing diagram.
it says giving a 25mhz sclk i can get 1.5msps output (the give chip select after every 16clk cycles.)
im using a pic18f4550 with 8mhz crystal.
the prescaler in it can give 24mhz..
so what will happen if i give this 24mhz as serial clk??
or it would be better if i can generate 25mhz from the microcontroller itself.
is that possible? (more of a pic18f question )

the question i ask may be very basic..i ve jus started to work with these stuff. so pls bear with me
