Thanks for the reply. I have never removed a ribbon like this before. Is there any adhesive underneath the ribbon? I wouldn't think there would be due to interfering with the connection

When 'interstitial' adhesive is used it is specially formulated to exhibit an 'ultra-low' surface tension such that the mounting force 'drives' it off the contacts... --- Hence the admonition Re: introduction of other adhesive types to said area!

This is a buffer board from a Samsung led TV. The issue is a 4inch wide vertical section of the TV that has a bad image. It is cause by the broken connections. I have repaired traces before...but nothing that small. Any suggestions??
