Hi,
I have 2 modules a transmitter and a receiver which both come with an antenna. On the receiver it has 2 solder points ant ground and ant next to each other, which I connect to the antenna. On the transmitter it only has ant, no ant ground. I assume that I connect the antenna to the ant point and attach it the ground of my circuit as there is no ground solder point?

That is correct. The ground must be common to both the antenna and its receiver.

 

Is this the same with transmitter?

 

For its antenna, yes.
