Hello friends
I need your help...
I want to know the exact gain of a quarter wave whip antenna in dB/dBi in order to calculate the received power using the formula..
Pr=Pt*Gt*Gr*(lamda)square/(4*3.14*distance)square
where
Pt= transmitting power
Gt= transmitting antenna gain
Gr= received antenna gain
lamda= wavelangth of the signal
distance= in meters
I have the necessary parameters like Pt, lamda, distance.
Im using the same antenna for transmitting and receiving signal.
Please help as I need to add this in my report.
Thanks
