I want to design a project as Analog timer. I would like to use Potentiometers to set the time & LCD display to display the time.Can anyone help me on this topic?

 

If I read your request you want an old fashioned clock dial running backwards (on a LCD screen). Correct?

The display may look analog, but it is a digitial circuit. Have you picked the LCD dial? This is the starting point.
