I'm wondering if anyone may know of a IC that does this or if anyone has a link to a circuit which can help?

    Small footprint is essential.

    Take a look at a TL5001.

Use a voltage divider to change the 0-10v signal to a 0-2.5v signal.

I've been looking at the schematic for the TL5001 but i'm not understanding how that works.
I wonder if you might be able to post a sample circuit for me to look at when using it in this configuration?

I looked at those and can't make sense of it. If you or someone else has time I would appreciate some assistance in the design of this circuit.

I can get through most stuff but this is making my head spin.
