Amplify current from DAC?

Hi, I've bought a MCP4725 Digital-to-analog converter that I want to use for generating an analog voltage level that I can control via I2C.

The chip is simple enough, it takes in an input voltage, and then you use I2C to indicate what the output voltage should be.

The problem is that I now see that it can only supply 25mA. I need about 1000mA.

Are there any clever circuits using transistors or opamps etc that can be used to achieve a higher current flow while keeping the same voltage level I've set in the DAC?

hi 78,
This clip is fro the MCP datasheet, shows a current amp circuit, you could further increase the current by using power darlington transistor.

What power supply voltages do you have?
What is the maximum and minimum output voltages you want?
What is the highest rate of voltage change (frequency) you want?
