What's the best distributor to buy a small handful of parts from?

Maybe you do not care that some shops rip-off people. That is one reason that RadioShack is gone from Canada.

The Source isn't any better... and the component section is awful.

Comes down to Active Electronics and Sayal for local shops at least.

 

I'm in the US. There's jack-all for locals to buy from, besides the Shack, and I only go there for parts I need right now. What's your guys' online distributor preference?

 

The Source is owned by Bell now so of course they will try to sell a cell phone to you.
There were a few Active stores I went to but most have closed including the one near my home. Sayal in Mississauga is now a HUGE store with good prices on "surplus" parts.

Digikey and Newark online have vast selections and plenty of stock. When I order before 8:00PM then it is delivered the next morning and they are not even in my country.

 

And DigiKey has no minimum order now.
