American Wire Gauge

    Dear all,

    May I know the following, with regards to the wire gauge:

    - if I have a wire of AWG 11 that can support 10A at least, is it ok if I used wire of higher AWG, example AWG 15 or 16 but I place a bundle of them together.

    - is the above configuration able to support the 10A current that will flow?

    Yes, you can combine smaller wires to carry more current. Check this reference, particularly the notes section as there are different standards.
