The title says it all.
Inspired by some awesome costumes and cosplays sporting some manner of electronic component, I decided I wanted to try my hand at doing something similar. I've gutted an old Micron Monitor for 1995, and intend on wearing it like a helmet while the screen displays a number of different facial expressions. I'll be able to see through the gaps in the matrix, and change the expressions by pressing a button/flipping a switch. Sounds neat, I thought.
But, I'll confess, I'm not even sure where to start. I've checked on some Daft-Punk build guides, but I think I need a little more direction. I was hoping there was something of a standard 'this is how you build a matrix' guide list, but all the ones I have found are a little too specific.
What should I do fellas. Is this insanity or is this doable by a complete novice with proper direction?
