I am creating a signal conditioning circuit for strain gauge measurement. I have created the bridge, used a 3 op-amp instrumentation amplifier, a CMOS 4503 Triple, 2 channel Multiplexer with a 555 timer and a voltage to current converter to get out a 4-20mA current.

Can anyone suggest another PSD where a 555 timer is used?

So will the AD630 take the output from the inst amp and multiply by a 555 timer ref signal?

Post schematics please. Hard to say then not having any schematics. But what does the 555 do in all this. To me it sounds like you are on the wrong track. Start with using a sine wave to excite the bridge
And can we please have just one thread from the OP on this topic

I thought a square wave pulse would be used as a ref signal.

NO and NO!. Use a good sine wave
